Wynter Larrabae
Surfer, Waterman & Ocean Explorer
Raised on the waves of Nantucket, Wynter is a young surf phenom making waves in both longboard and shortboard competitions. At just 15, he’s already clinched U18 titles at the NSSA East Coast Regionals and ESA Championships, with a strong 2nd place at Nationals in Huntington Beach.
When he’s not chasing surf in Nicaragua, Hawaii, or California, he’s diving, skating, painting, or dreaming of becoming an Olympic surfer. Passionate, multi-talented, and deeply connected to nature.
Follow Wynter's journey as he continues to push boundaries both in and out of the water, who live unapologetically, and who move through the world with purpose and flow.
Betsy Strider Salcedo
Longboarder & Traveler
Born in Venezuela and rooted in Puerto Rico, she competes internationally representing Venezuela Beyond competition, Betsy expresses herself through poetry inspired by the sea, movement, and the raw beauty of life. Her surfing and her words blend into a living art form—fluid, intentional, and full of meaning.
Her favorite waves? Los Caracas and Cuyagua in Venezuela, and El Sunzal in El Salvador.
As an Ocean Tailored ambassador, Betsy represents those who live boldly, stand out unapologetically, and carve their own line—on and off the board.
Amber Ammie
Ocean Lover, Pedagogue & Surf Coach.
Originally from the Netherlands. Ammie coincidentally joined a surfclass in Sri-Lanka 8 years ago. She was hooked on the feeling that surfing gives you. During her travels, she always took some surfclasses in different countries.
She worked as a pedagogue in a rehabilitation center for children with diverse developmental needs. For Ammie, teaching surf is quite similar.
Ammie is involved in various projects, working with surfcamps and organizing retreats herself with other communities. She also started the project ‘us & the ocean’ with Sophie, to offer workshops that combine Breathwork & Surfing.
In the future, you might find Ammie’s pedagogical surf center somewhere in Portugal!
Kydon Larrabae
Surfer, Diver & Creative Soul
From the desert to the sea, Kydon found his passion young on the shores of Nantucket. Driven by ambition and talent, Kydon aims to achieve National Champion status in both shortboard and longboard categories this year, with his eyes firmly set on one day becoming a World Champion in each discipline.
His favorite wave (so far): Lances Left in Nicaragua. Off the board, Kydon dives into the depths with his brother, explores hydrofoiling, and expresses himself through painting.
A true Ocean Tailored rider—versatile, focused, and endlessly inspired by the ocean.
Chris Ray
Big Wave Surfer, Coach & Ocean Athlete
Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, Chris grew up surrounded by surf culture and developed a deep respect for the ocean from a young age.
He regularly charges heavy waves over 30 feet at breaks like Waimea Bay and Isla Todos Santos. Off the big waves, Chris is passionate about coaching beginner and intermediate surfers, helping them improve technique and confidence in the water.
With a calm presence and relentless drive, he embodies the adventurous and committed spirit of Ocean Tailored.
Polly Rada
Big Wave Surfer, Coach & Ocean Safety Advocate
Originally from Guatemala, Polly started surfing at 13 and always dreamed of riding giants. That dream took shape when she moved to Hawaiʻi at 21 and began charging Waimea Bay.
She became one of the first 10 women invited to the legendary PEʻAHI Challenge, where she placed 7th in the world. Since then, Polly has ridden waves at Mavericks, Nazaré, and Puerto Escondido.
One of the few female jet ski operators in big wave surfing, she now shares her knowledge through training programs for women focused on ocean safety and confidence in heavy water. Through her journey, she inspires others to chase their wildest dreams,on land and in the sea.
Savannah Tuma
Surf Content Creator & Community Builder
Savannah, a California native, caught her first waves in Santa Cruz and fell in love with shortboarding on the Big Island of Hawai’i. With contagious energy and honesty, she began sharing her surf journey on TikTok—documenting the real, raw, and joyful moments of learning to surf.
Today, she’s built a vibrant community of women in their twenties who are finding confidence and connection through the waves. Savannah’s presence is a reminder that the surf world is for everyone—one session at a time. Follow her journey

Maria Bastidas
Surf Photographer, Ocean Explorer & Storyteller
Originally from Mexico, Maria captures the raw energy and beauty of the ocean through her lens, specializing in big-wave territories across the globe. Her journey into surf photography began in 2012 when she volunteered in Hawaiʻi with Surfing the Nations, where she met her mentor, renowned water photographer Peter Sterling.
That experience sparked a lifelong dedication to documenting the connection between surfers and the sea. With a background in swimming, Maria confidently navigates challenging waters, allowing her to capture powerful and intimate moments in the lineup.
Her work has been featured in Men’s Journal,The Red Bulletin, and other international publications. Today, she shares her passion through workshops and interviews, inspiring others to dive into the world of surf photography and explore their own creative path by the sea.

Born in Argentina, Mauro Delgado has always seen the ocean as a sacred, magical space—where inspiration flows as freely as the tides. From chasing waves to diving below the surface or simply watching the sun dip into the horizon, Mauro’s connection to the sea runs deep.
Specializing in in-water photography, Mauro captures more than just moments—he captures emotion, movement, and the quiet power of the ocean. His work is rooted in instinct, timing, and the unique connection shared with each surfer in the lineup. Reading the waves together, anticipating the moment—it’s this partnership that brings his images to life.
Mauro’s lens reflects the rhythm of the ocean and the soul of the surf. As part of the Ocean Tailored family, he brings vision, depth, and a deep respect for the water to everything he creates.
Sophie Bellman
Photographer, Surfer & Breathwork Teacher
Sophie is a photographer and breathwork teacher from Berlin and now based in Portugal, whose life and work are deeply connected with the ocean.
Her surf journey began in 2016 during a job at a surf competition in France, where she first discovered her love for waves and surf photography.
Together with her surf buddy Ammie, Sophie co-founded Us & The Ocean, a workshop and retreat series that helps female surfers move through fear, anxiety and self-doubt in the water.
With years of experience in fashion, branding, and conceptual photography, she photographs the world from land, sky, water and studio looking for what makes an image more than just an image. She sees brand photography as something alive. It is not just fabric on skin, but movement, presence and transformation. What makes it breathe and exist.

Connor Mazzola
Ocean Explorer & Underwater Storyteller
Connor Mazzola is a true waterman whose connection to the ocean runs deep. He caught his first wave at just 5 years old along the rugged coastline of California’s Channel Islands, where his love for the sea first took shape. From that early start, everything else—scuba diving, sailing, spearfishing, freediving—was a natural evolution of the same passion.
Now based on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, Connor spends most of his time immersed in the ocean—either capturing its raw beauty through his lens or sourcing food sustainably through spearfishing. His photography is strikingly intentional: he shoots exclusively on black and white film, embracing the purity of light, grain, and timing. No second takes, no digital edits—just honest, timeless imagery that reflects his respect for the underwater world.
For Connor It’s about telling a story, preserving the feeling, and creating art that lives on walls and in hearts. Whether guiding friends through the reef, diving solo into deep blue silence, or sharing meals caught by hand, Connor brings soul, purpose, and a quiet kind of mastery to everything he does.

Ricardo Urbina
Endurance Athlete, Freediver & Big Wave Surfer
Raised on the vibrant coast of Venezuela, Ricardo is the definition of a modern-day waterman. His journey began in endurance sports, earning him four appearances at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and four finishes at the legendary Ironman World Championship in Kona. But his connection to the ocean runs far deeper than triathlon.
As a certified freediving instructor and experienced spearfisherman, Ricardo approaches the ocean with both physical mastery and spiritual respect. When the swell rises, you’ll find him chasing giants at world-class big wave spots like Mavericks, Pico Alto, Todos Santos, and the North Shore of O‘ahu.
Ricardo also thrives in open water paddling—both prone and SUP—completing crossings like Molokai to O‘ahu, Monterey Bay, Catalina Channel, and Lake Tahoe with grit and grace. His lifestyle blends performance, discipline, and a relentless love for the sea.
