Wetsuit Size Guide – How to Choose the Correct Size
Please review the wetsuit size chart carefully before placing your order. Choosing the correct wetsuit size is extremely important for comfort, flexibility, warmth, and overall performance in the water. A properly fitted wetsuit improves hydrodynamics, reduces water flushing, and helps maintain body temperature during surfing, diving, and open water activities.

Most Customers Fit Our Standard Size Chart
Ocean Tailored has developed an extensive wetsuit size chart based on real athlete data global customer feedback and years of wetsuit manufacturing experience. Our sizing system is designed to fit a very wide range of body types. In most cases customers can confidently choose a standard size wetsuit without needing Custom Fit.
More than 90% of customers fit comfortably within our regular size chart, making the ordering process simple and straightforward. If your measurements fall clearly within one size category, you can safely select a standard size and expect a performance-oriented wetsuit fit with excellent comfort, flexibility, and thermal performance.
If your body measurements fall between two sizes or if your chest and waist measurements correspond to different size rows, we strongly recommend selecting Custom Fit.
Choose Custom Fit if any of the following apply:
• You are between two wetsuit sizes
• Your chest and waist fall into different size categories
• You want a true second-skin performance wetsuit fit
• You have an athletic, muscular, tall, or non-standard body shape
• You want maximum flexibility, warmth, and hydrodynamic efficiency
Custom Fit allows Ocean Tailored to build the wetsuit specifically for your body rather than forcing a standard size that may not fit correctly.
Important Wetsuit Fit Policy
All measurements are provided by the customer. Ocean Tailored manufactures the wetsuit based on the measurements or size selected during ordering. We are unable to offer exchanges, remakes, or refunds for wetsuit fit issues resulting from:
• Incorrect self-measurements
• Selecting a size that does not match the wetsuit size chart
• Choosing a standard size when Custom Fit was recommended
