*Superior Fitting:*
Ocean Tailored custom wetsuits, designed with anatomical panels and pre-shaped areas, feature a seamless lumbar design and minimal seams. This design approach ensures unrestricted movement and reduces seam stress, thereby extending the wetsuit's durability.
*Wind Shield:*
The Ocean Tailored Wind Shield is a surface coating on our neoprene that provides excellent wind protection, water repellency, and effective heat absorption.
*Knee Pads:*
Our durable and flexible knee pads are made with a combination of compression-resistant rubber and high stretch abrasion-resistant fabric. This results in comfortable knee pads that allow easier knee folding and also protect you and your board.
*Back Knee Grooves:*
The back of the knees is a critical area. Our Back Knee Emboss allows the neoprene to bend more naturally, enhancing comfort during knee flexion.
*Fused Edges:*
We fuse neoprene layer at the tips of the arms and legs for a thinner, more aesthetic look. This process also protects the inner neoprene foam.
*Anti Slip Seals:*
Sealing prints on custom wetsuits stiffen the wrists and ankles, keep water out, and secure the arm and leg panels in place.
*Drainage Holes:*
Our wetsuits feature strategically placed water drainage holes to flush out any excess water.
*Aqua Flush:*
Our custom wetsuit feature an Aqua Flush system to prevent the discomfort of water-filled legs. The water strainer panel, made of leaky and perforated neoprene, instantly drains any water that enters your leg, allowing you to continue your session.
*Ankle Straps:*
Our wetsuits come with ankle straps designed to withstand water sprays. They are stiff enough to prevent water entry and are lightweight for enhanced comfort. These straps provide an additional layer of protection if the water strainer panel is not sufficient.
*Fully Sealed:*
Ocean Tailored custom wetsuits are constructed with a unique process where the neoprene layers are first glued together and then "blind-stitched". This means the needle doesn't fully penetrate the neoprene layer. Following this, a heat-on tape is welded to the seam using an air heater machine. This technique enhances the durability, waterproofness, and flexibility of our wetsuits.
*GBS (Glued and Blind Stitched):*
All the neoprene panels are triple glued and then blind stitched. Blind stitching means that the thread partially penetrates the neoprene, reducing water entry through seams and helping the surfer stay warmer for longer. This type of stitching offers a high level of flexibility.
*Batwing:*
Our batwing provides warmth and comfort by covering the zipper to prevent any water from entering the wetsuit. It includes an additional collar for extra protection, keeping the surfer warmer. The zipper section is designed with drain holes to flush out any water that might seep in through the zip.
