At Ocean Tailored, we craft our custom wetsuits using Yamamoto Limestone Neoprene—a premium material that’s entirely petroleum-free. Made from over 99.7% calcium carbonate sourced from limestone, this neoprene is a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional petrochemical- based options.

Unlike standard neoprene, Yamamoto’s manufacturing process uses hydroelectric energy and avoids harmful by products. Even the heat generated during production is repurposed for use in eel nurseries, a key part of Japanese aquaculture. The result? A wetsuit material that performs exceptionally while treading lightly on the planet.

We believe in intentional design when it comes to packaging. Any material that is not useful or is discarded after unboxing is eliminated. All essential packaging materials are made from recycled content and are recyclable

Despite being solar-powered; we’ve taken an additional step to conserve energy. We’ve replaced factory lighting with LEDs and upgraded our machinery motors to energy-efficient servo motors.
